Default Language setting stuck

Ok so basically I was changing between languages for fun, but when I got to chinese, now GW won't go back to english. I can select any other language I like, but the text stays as chinese. I do know most of the game by heart but it would be nice to read my options menu again. Any help guys?

(I tried asking on the gw support site but I had problems with ncsoft account logins and all that nonsense. It's been too long since I've played for me to remember all that.)

There's a text language and an audio one, make sure you selected English in both.

That's the only thing I can think of, sorry.

this.

I don't see how hard it can be to simply mess around with it again till you get a language that is close enough to understand back to yours or fall directly back on yours. I know several languages I can understand some words in but.. meh..not hard to switch back, lol.

Btw:

I thought I wouldn't have to explain this more, but it's apparent you guys would rather assume posters are idiots rather than try to understand anything. I have attached some screenshots.
As I already stated, it doesn't matter WHAT LANGUAGE I SELECT. The language stays in chinese.
Of course I've tried closing the game and opening it several times.
I've also tried changing the system language to something else, then back to english to see if GW detects it and changes language preferences automatically (it's supposed to) but it won't.

Now, do you guys have any useful advice?

Never said you were an idiot, you might've forgotten there were two language settings.

You should uninstall/reinstall the game, that usually resets the language.

it might be a corrupted gw.dat - that can be fixed with the "-image" command line
